We’re pleased to announce Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US is one of four winners of the 2018 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Global Innovation Award. Our winning submission, the MLZ One-Way Ceiling Cassette, was officially honored at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, February 20. Steve Scarbrough, senior director of residential business, Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
NAHB established these awards to showcase innovative products to the entire global home building community as well as encourage future innovation. This year, awards were submitted in three categories: internal products, external products and technology/education.
“The products recognized by this year’s Global Innovation Awards offer home builders new options for building more sustainable, more efficient and more comfortable homes as well as unique ways to plan and sell them to buyers,” said S. Robert August, Chairman of the NAHB Global Opportunities Board. “We’re really excited to welcome these winners to our family of innovators who’ve been honored with this award.”
The MLZ One-Way Ceiling Cassette received much fanfare in 2018, winning several other accolades including:
