The scheduled opening plenary speaker is Amal Clooney, human rights lawyer and professor; the closing speaker is Carmen Yulín Cruz, mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Both are expected to speak on the responsibility of ensuring a sustainable planet for all as well as enhancing the power grid and infrastructure to do so.
