BPI Partners with BBB to Build Consumer Knowledge

When it comes to home improvement, consumers aren’t always sure where to turn for trustworthy and accurate information. In fact, home-related topics were the No. 1 search category on Council of Better Business Bureaus (BBB) websites, with more than 25 million page views last year alone. That’s why the BBB – the umbrella organization for 113 local, independent BBBs across the U.S. and Canada – has partnered with the Building Performance Institute (BPI) to develop a new, reliable resource for consumers seeking advice on the subject.

The program, which BBB plans to roll out later this year, is a nationwide initiative to help homeowners make informed decisions on everything from buying, building or renovating a home to improving its comfort, safety and energy efficiency.

What’s more? This partnership will perfectly complement BPI’s upcoming consumer marketing campaign, which will educate homeowners on the best ways to achieve comfort and optimize energy efficiency in their homes through home performance upgrades.
