2014 Diamond Service Advisory Conference Recap


Two of our fundamental goals as an HVAC manufacturer are to provide the best products for consumers and the environment and the best support for our customers. We founded the Diamond Service Group (DSG) program in 2003, a nationwide network of qualified Mitsubishi Electric distributors trained to provide top-of-the-line technical support. Every year, our service management team sits down with a select group of DSG members – our Diamond Service Advisors (DSA) – to discuss the current state of the program and ensure that we’re keeping our promise to our customers.

This year, our service management team and DSA gathered at the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort in Point Clear, Alabama for the two-day Diamond Service Advisory Conference. The event included in-depth discussions on everything from program engagement, the current support systems and infrastructure to future expansion, and what is needed for continued program success.

“The DSA Conference was a great opportunity for members to come together, sharing knowledge and expertise on the DSG program,” said Tony Hayes, our senior director of service and technical operations. “Our DSA members consistently collaborate with our team to provide us with DSG program intelligence only gained from years of experience at the distributor level.”

This conference is important because it keeps us in touch with the DSG program, gives us insight on what works and what doesn’t, so that we can develop purposeful goals and objectives for continued achievement for years to come.
